ummm...so I just thought it might be a good idea to write down important events in america, so you know...when I get older I can look back and remember the good, the bad, and the ugly. [that's so cliche!]

so right now there is this thing going on called the swine flu. I don't know much about it because I really don't pay attention to the news very often. [it is probably about time I do!] So this swine flu has apparently come from mexico and already killed one person...well it was a baby. in Houston. School districts are closing down, and things are getting serious. I am that type of person that does not really take anything on the news serious, but sometimes I have to remember that there is a world outside of my room, my school, my community of friends. I forget about it sometimes, although I will never forget about New York, Paris or anywhere in Europe. [I so wish to travel over there. but I should probably figure out what is going on here before I embark on a world adventure.]

anyways....so yeah. that's what's going on! pretty exciting. It is also President Obama's 100th day in office. He had a big speech thing on all the main channels...except for Fox 4. They did not air it. Instead they aired a show called "Lie to me." haha..this is a wee bit hilarious!

but instead of watching the speech I watched America's Next Top Model because that show is super silly and fun to watch! Fo got kicked off...

this week has been TAKS week in school. So today I did not go to school since I do not have to take TAKS!! woohoo!! but I have to go tomorrow because I have a fourth period class....sad but ok!

well I am going to stop and go to bed!
